I'd rather inform you now instead of tomorrow morning for your planning purposes. We will NOT practice tomorrow 5/22 as COLT (the age group above us) needs the field for their playoffs. We have been given (Thursday May 25 from 6:30-8:30 AP4). Also a quick reminder we play a doubleheader on Tuesday night.

Next week we are scheduled to play the Cubs at 6pm. Instead of that we will be playing a rare double header with them to make up one of our games we got rained out.

Team, the Nationals have canceled our game tonight due to low availability of players. We will do a split squad game with our team tonight from 7pm-8:30/9 @ Arnold Park 4. I’m hoping to see everyone… including boys on the field trip as this split squad is only possible with us all. Plus this will be fun for us as a whole team.
Sorry for the unfortunate news but again we’ll make some fun out of this.

Team, picture day info below. I literally copied the info that was sent to me.
Saturday, May 13th in Belvedere Elementary school gym.
We are at 12:30PM. Be there by 12:15.
As of right now we have no game but could be used as a make up day.
"Picture day is scheduled on Saturday, May 13th inside the Belvedere Elementary School gym. We will be photographing all players and coaches individually and extracting and compositing into the team photo, the same process that was done last season. (See sample photo below) All ordering of photos will be done online and you will be able to view your photos prior to finalizing your orders. I am offering a free shipping promotion if you make an AdvancePay/Deposit towards your order. If you make a deposit of any amount and your order is $40 or more you will receive Free Shipping. Good afternoon all, we have to shift practice to BROADNECK PARK 3 from 6:30PM to 8:30 or till daylight says that’s enough. AP4 is closed today due to the overnight rain.
For anyone that doesn’t know.. BP3 is the first field on the right coming in the main entrance of Broadneck Park. The main entrance is the one with the light that takes you to Broadneck high school off college parkway.
If clouds turn into hard rain or storms I’ll keep you posted on a cancellation. Latest cancellation due to weather will be 6pm. All other calls will be made at the field. We will practice if it’s small non-effective drizzle.

Good morning team, I’m a bit disappointed in the turn out to this practice at 11. I was only informed of 2 that won’t make it today. Thank you to the ones that have shown up each practice including today. I understand this is a holiday weekend but again I was only informed of 2 out of 11 not coming.
This is a volunteer commitment for us as coaches. If we know ahead of time we’ll have a very little turn out then that’s more worth our time.
I again understand the holiday weekend but let’s please be better with communication please.

Good evening team, our practice scheduled for tomorrow (3/25 @11Am) is CANCELLED due to rain and muddy conditions. We will see you Monday at 5Pm (AP4).
We have added a makeup practice for THURSDAY 3/30 from 7Pm-9 (AP4). I could possibly add another during the week as well stay tuned. We emphasize practice's all season long and we understand families can be very busy but please let me know if you cannot make it to any makeup practice's. We as a coaching staff are here to make our team better each practice.
Thank you to all for responding about the scrimmage availability on April 1. We are set for that but still waiting for confirmation from Glen Burnie due to the date change. I'll confirm it soon..hopefully or else we'll find someone else to play but lastly will still practice if that's our last resort.

We are looking to scrimmage Glen Burnie here @ AP4 on April 8th at 12pm. This would run the same length of a game which is about 2 hours with the same rules all applying. Arrival for the game would be 11AM. This would be our last Saturday practice before the season but would rather use the time to scrimmage a team we won't play during the season.
Simply reply with.. My son (name) CAN or CAN NOT make it. We recognize this is Easter weekend but thought why not give it a shot.

Welcome 2023 Spring Babe Ruth Players/Parents

Good Morning,
Welcome to Spring 2023 Babe Ruth, we're the WHITE SOX! I am your Head coach Griffin Hinkle, assisted by Coach Paul White. I am 20 years old. This is my third full spring season as a head coach. We both have experience coaching together. We're extremely excited to be your son's coaches this spring. In other words, anxious to get back out on the diamond. We will go more into depth at our first practice about ourselves for you and your ballplayers to get to know us more and for us to know you!
Without further ado, our practice's start NEXT WEEK. I have allotted us for our
weekday practice on (Monday evening’s) and we will also have a weekend
practice on (Saturday morning’s) till our season starts on April 11 (from what I
was told) then we will plan to be ONLY Monday’s unless told otherwise.
- 5PM - 7 Monday's @Arnold Park 4 starting on March 20.
I will likely move the time back to 6Pm once we get more daylight to help working parents.
- 11AM-1Pm Saturday's @Arnold Park 4 starting on March 25.
Games: We will be playing all in house (Home) games on Tuesday (evening’s) and games on Saturday’s (times differ). I believe our schedule is on our BBSC site but I haven’t had the chance to look through it (but go for it if you wish). Once I do… I’ll send out in a spreadsheet format that's easy to follow. All our games will be played at Broadneck Park or Arnold Park unless told otherwise.
Team: Our roster consists of 11 total players…playing time is always encouraged when possible. I put extreme emphasis on communication of your child's availability at practices and GAMES, please be honest and communicate with us as parents and coaches so we can plan accordingly.
Help: If interested in helping with the team at practices, games or at any measure let me know.
I like to have someone do the scorebook and gamechanger so anyone willing, let me know.
COVID/Sicknesses: I ask we please be safe and honest with our symptoms of
anything...Even if it may not be serious it can still spread and affect anyone
on the team. One thing to keep in mind is that COVID is still around us like
any illness so please let me know of any sicknesses right away. I'd rather you
miss a practice with the sniffles before it gets serious to not attend a game
to keep us all safe and healthy this spring.
I will touch base on all these topics and more at our first practice. Finally, we
are all here to play some baseball and get great amounts of playing time. We as
the coaching staff are here also to keep each of you SAFE and to HAVE FUN!
